What is Paraplegia?
Paraplegia is a medical condition characterized by the loss of motor and sensory function in the lower half of the body. It is most commonly caused by spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases, or trauma that affects the spinal cord. Patients with paraplegia experience partial or complete paralysis of both legs and may face challenges in mobility, daily activities, and maintaining independence.
